Local racer buys Montgomery Motor Speedway:

For the local drivers and fans, just getting racing back to the historic half-mile track is enough for now. "We're all very hopeful that things will work out and we can get back to regular racing out there," said Jason Mayhan, who has raced several events at MMS and owns a racing parts business. "It's been an up-and-down ride the last couple of months with all that's gone on with Crawford and the people around the track. If we can just get back out there -- that's all we want right now.
